Vietnam: The Vietnam Institute for Building Materials has launched an 18-month project with Energiva Ventures to build an environmental product declaration (EPD) programme for cement produced in Vietnam. Việt Nam News has reported that the launch took place at an industry workshop event on 12 October 2026. The project may result in the subsequent launch of guiding circulars, regulations and standards published by the government, with mandatory implementation of EPDs to follow.
