Song Lam cement plant orders four Loesche mills
25 January 2016Vietnam: The Song Lam cement plant has ordered four Loesche mills via Sinoma. The greenfield project is being organised by the Hoang Phat Vissai Group Company.
Two type LM 60.6 Loesche mills have been ordered to grind raw material to a fineness of 12% R90μ, with a capacity of 2 x 520t/hour and a gearbox power of 4600kW. Metal detectors and sealing air fans are also included in the scope of supply. The lead time for the main components of the mill and for the additional units included in the scope of supply is 10 months. The commissioning of the vertical roller mills is planned for the fourth quarter of 2016.
Two type LM 63.3+3 CS Loesche mills have been ordered to grind clinker. These mills are designed with a capacity of 300t/hour Ordinary Portland Cement in order to grind the material to a fineness of 4000 Blaine. The gearboxes of these mills each have a power of 7000 kW.
Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute orders two Loesche LM 53.3+3 CS mills for PT Semen Baturaja
05 January 2016Indonesia: Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. has placed an order for two type LM 53.3+3 CS LOESCHE mills for clinker grinding for PT Semen Baturaja. Each of the clinker grinding mills has a designed a capacity of 175t/hr and material is ground to a fineness of 3400 Blaine. Each mill is fitted with a gearbox with a power of 4200kW.
The lead time for the main components of the mill is nine months and the gearboxes are supplied within 12 months.
Turkey: A new kiln line is being developed at the Batisöke Söke Çimento Sanayii TAS cement plant in Turkey.
Based on previous positive experience with Loesche, Batisöke Söke Çimento has ordered a type LM 56.4 Loesche mill with a capacity of 500t/hr at a fineness of 12% R at 90µm for grinding cement raw material. The gearbox of this mill has a power of 3400kW. Magnetic separators, metal detectors, refined parts for the mill fan and the engineering of the cyclone are also included in the scope of supply. The lead time for this vertical roller mill is 10 months. The new kiln line will be fitted with a type LM 28.3 D Loesche coal mill with a capacity of 40t/hr at a fineness of 5% R at 90µm for grinding solid fuels. The gearbox has a power of 700kW. For this mill, the further scope of supply includes magnetic separators, metal detectors, process filters, refined parts for the mill fan and explosion flaps. For grinding clinker, a type LM 53.3+3 CS Loesche mill with a capacity of 200t/hr CEM I with a fineness of 3500 Blaine will be used. The gearbox has a power of 4700kW.
The commissioning of the new mills is planned in the second quarter of 2017.
Loesche mills ordered for Nova Cimangola SA cement plant in Angola
17 November 2015Angola: Sinoma International has ordered Loesche's complete grinding series for the Nova Cimangola SA cement plant in Luanda, Angola. These will be the first Loesche vertical roller mills in the country.
The order includes one cement raw material mill of the type LM 48.4 with a capacity of 400t/hr and two cement mills of the type LM 46.2+2 C/S which are designed to have a capacity of 150t/hr each. Loesche's coal mill of the type LM 24.20 DC completes the order. Further equipment like rotary star feeders, metal detectors, the engineering for the cyclones, classifier motors and the control system are also in Loesche's scope of supply, as well as a two-year operation spare parts contract.
The coal mill and the cement raw material mill are scheduled to start operation in the middle of 2016. The cement mills will follow with a production start by the end of 2016.
Loesche supplies two vertical roller mills to Arabian Cement Company
13 November 2015Saudi Arabia: Arabian Cement Company (ACC) is planning to build a new 10,000t/day brownfield cement line in Rabigh.
In order to increase the cement grinding capacities in phase 1, prior to the completion of the new line in Phase 2, ACC placed an order with China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) for a grinding plant, including two Loesche vertical roller mills.
The project execution will be done on a fast-track concept, which ensures a project schedule of only 13 months. Loesche will supply two large vertical roller mills of Type LM 63.3+3 with a table diameter of 6.3m and a main drive size of 7400kW. Under the fast-track concept, Loesche will not only supply the mills, but also all process related equipment like process filters, process fans, hot gas generators, as well as the complete basic engineering of the grinding plant to ensure a state-of-the-art plant design.
Sun Cement orders another vertical roller mill from Loesche
27 October 2015South Korea: Sun Cement Co Ltd has placed another order for a Loesche vertical roller grinding mill to grind granulated blast furnace slag.
At the Mokpo cement plant in South Korea, in order to ensure more cost-effective production, plans have been made to replace the current outdated ball mill with a new grinding plant. For this reason, Loesche has been commissioned to deliver a LM 35.2+2 CS mill. The vertical roller grinding mill will produce slag cement with a fineness of 4600 Blaine, at a capacity of 45t/hr. The capacity of the gearbox will be 1600kW.
The delivery of the key parts to Sun Cement Co Ltd is planned for the end of 2015.
DG Khan releases further details of new Baluchistan cement plant
09 September 2015Pakistan: DG Khan Cement has signed a contract with Germany's Loesche GmbH to supply complete raw, cement and coal grinding mills for its greenfield cement plant in Lasbella, Baluchistan. The cement grinding mills will be provided by a German company, while Denmark's FLSmidth has been contracted for engineering and equipment, according to DG Khan Secretary Khalid Chohan. The new 9,000t/day plant will be completed with a cost of around US$300m within three years. DG Khan has already signed an agreement with K-Electric for the supply of 40MW of electricity.
Loesche sells coal grinding mill to PT Bhumiadya Indonesia
20 August 2015Indonesia: PT Bhumiadya Indonesia, part of the Sibleco Group and a manufacturer of industrial minerals with 228 sites worldwide, has ordered a coal mill from Loesche for its new limestone plant in Bandung, Indonesia. The LM 17.20 D vertical roller mill grind 10t/hr of coal to a fineness of 10% R 90μm. The scope of supply also includes filters, blowers, a Loesche hot gas generator and inertisation flaps. The delivery of the mill key parts is scheduled to take place at the end of 2015.
Mexico: Cementos Moctezuma, a joint venture company of Cementos Molins, Buzzi Unicem and Grupo Carso, has ordered a Loesche vertical roller mill LM 53.3+3 C for its cement plant in Apazapan, Veracruz. The mill will produce 205t/hr CPC 30 cement at 4000 Blaine or 195t/hr CPC 40 cement at 3700 Blaine.
The order also includes a LDC classifier (Loesche Dynamic Classifier), as well as the COPE gearbox, including gearbox drive motors, developed in cooperation with RENK AG. The COPE gearbox features a redundancy of eight motors. With all eight motors in operation, an output totaling 4.6MW is achieved. The customer advantage lies in the fact that the COPE gearbox can reach up to 100% of the mill capacity performance even with a reduced number of motors. The COPE gearbox has the same external dimensions as a conventional planetary gear system and thus requires no extensive enlargement of the mill foundations.
Biberci Insaat orders Loesche LM 56.3+3 vertical roller mill for new cement plant in Konya
24 June 2015Turkey: Biberci Insaat is building its first cement plant in Konya, Turkey and it has ordered Loesche's LM 56.3+3 vertical roller mill for clinker grinding. Biberci Insaat specialises in infrastructure works including road construction, interchange, water conduction lines, sewerage, natural gas and other energy transfer lines.
One of Biberci Insaat's first investments for the new greenfield cement plant is the order of Loesche's LM 56.3+3 cement mill for clinker grinding. The mill will produce 200t/hr of Ordinary Portland Cement at 3,800 Blaine. The gearbox is planned with a capacity of 5400kW. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.
