UK: Global Cement Magazine's virtual CemProducer Conference on 19 May 2020 attracted 940 registrations from 84 countries worldwide, to listen to 12 presentations on the topic of 'cement plant maintenance in the time of coronavirus.'

US: Global Cement is exhibiting at the 36th International Cement Seminar & Exhibition taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. The long running cement equipment and technology event has returned after a lengthy break. Portland Cement Association (PCA) chief economist Ed Sullivan gave the keynote address at the conference with an industry forecast for 2020.

US: Robert McCaffrey, the editorial director of Global Cement, has presented ‘The global cement industry in 2050’ at the 61st IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Technical Conference 2019 taking place at St Louis in Missouri. The presentation used data from a variety of sources to explore how the cement and concrete industries could look in 2050 including shifts in societies, demographics, technologies, business and the environment.
