Global Cement Magazine - October 2023

The October 2023 issue of Global Cement Magazine contains the third in our series of articles to look at cement over the decades, this time looking at the 'hangover' after the cement production 'party' of the 1990s and early 2000s was halted by the global financial crisis. We also look at how global cement trade is being revolutionised by Blink and the future of concrete with the GCCA's Andrew Minson.
Technical contributions come from front cover advertiser Graco (lubrication), Schaeffler (bearings), Analytik Jena (CCUS analysis), the University of Sheffield (CCUS), SCR (IGS) and cement producer Mannok (health and safety). Holtec Consulting provides a detailed report from India's growing cement sector, while Global Cement visits the Jurong Port cement terminal in Singapore. There's also a review of the recent Intercem Istanbul event.
