Moroccan cement sales expected to rise by 10% by the end of June 2025

Morocco: Cement sales are expected to reach 6.8Mt by the end of June 2025, up 10% from 6.2Mt in the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of National Land Use Planning, Urban Development, Housing and Urban Policy.

Sales by members of the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC) – Asment Temara, Ciments de l'Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, LafargeHolcim Maroc and Novacim – totalled 0.83Mt in June 2025, up by 12% year-on-year from 0.75Mt.

Moroccan cement sales rise to 6Mt so far in 2025

Morocco: Cement sales reached 6Mt from January to May 2025, up by 9% year-on-year from 5.5Mt, according to the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy.

The growth concerns deliveries by Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC) members Asment Temara, Ciments de l'Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, LafargeHolcim Maroc and Novacim. In May 2025, APC members delivered 1.5Mt of cement, up by 7% from 1.4Mt in May 2024.

Moroccan cement industry delivers 6.98Mt of cement in first seven months of 2023

Morocco: Members of the Professional Association of Cement Producers (APC) delivered a total of 6.98Mt of cement during the first seven months of 2023. This corresponds to a year-on-year rise of 2.1%, compared with seven-month 2022 levels. Agence Marocaine de Presse News has reported that ready-mix concrete plants consumed 4.29Mt (61%), and precast concrete plants 1.37Mt (20%), of cement deliveries. Producers despatched 367,000t (5.3%) of cement to infrastructure construction sites, and 271,000t (3.9%) to other building sites.
