India: Dalmia Seven, a joint venture between Dalmia Bharat Group and Austria’s Seven Refractories, has launched a new monolithic refractory production line at its Katni plant in Madhya Pradesh. Following the upgrade the unit has a production capacity of 45,000t/yr, according to the Press Trust of India. The new production line is intended to meeting growing demand nationally from the cement, steel and iron industries.
Seven Refractories opens plant in Kazakhstan
17 March 2017Kazakhstan: Seven Refractories has opened a plant in Karaganda with a production capacity of 40,000t/yr. The first production run was completed in mid-February 2017. The unit is the Slovenian company’s most easterly production site.
India: The refractories division of Dalmia Bharat Group has signed a memorandum of understanding for a joint venture with Seven Refractories to develop and supply a wide range of monolithic refractories for the Indian market.
“We are committed to bringing the most advanced solutions to our customers across the iron, steel and cement industries. This partnership will combine the strengths of both companies to provide customised solutions with the latest monolithic refractory technology combined with quicker deliveries and localised services,” said Sameer Nagpal, CEO-Refractories, Dalmia Bharat Group.
