Finland: Tana has appointed Henri Kinnunen as VP, Product Management and Business. He previously worked as the CEO of WOIMA Corporation, a waste-to-energy engineering company , from 2018 to 2024. Prior to this he worked with Wärtsilä from 2007 to 2017 in both Finland and overseas.
Finland-based Tana operates in the waste management sector producing products such as shredders, compactors and separators.
Tana celebrates 50th anniversary
30 March 2021Finland: Tana has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1971. It marked the occasion by setting an ambitious growth target of Euro100m within the next ten years from Euro40.0m in 2020. It said that the ‘open-minded and innovative’ tradition which it has maintained over the past 50 years will continue in future. Tana is a producer of waste shredders.
Kari Liuska appointed as chief executive officer of Tana
01 April 2020Finland: Tana has appointed Kari Liuska as its chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from 1 May 2020. Present CEO and owner Kari Kangas will continue as chairman of the board.
Liuska will transfer to Tana from Etteplan Oyj, where he worked as a Senior Vice President in Software and Embedded Solutions. Liuska has worked in Etteplan's management positions since 2016 and before that as managing director of Espotel.
Kangas, the owner-CEO of Tana Oy, will become the full-time chairman of the board. A smooth transition is anticipated as Liuska has been a member of the board of Tana for around one year.
Tana is a waste management company that produces landfill compactors, waste shredders and waste screening technologies.
