Some things never change, but in the years to 2050, we can expect profound shifts in societies, demographics, technologies, business and the environment. All of these factors will have huge effects on the cement and concrete industries. Using data from a wide variety of sources, here Robert McCaffrey of Global Cement Magazine gives some suggestions on how the global cement industry will look in 2050.
