The September 2017 issue of Global Cement Magazine contains technical articles on cement plant engineering, low CO2 concrete, electrical efficiency, chromium six reduction, logistics, alternative fuels, conveyors and a review of the recent Global CemTrans Conference, which took place in Antwerp, Belgium. To coincide with its distribution at the VDZ Annual Conference in Düsseldorf, Germany, we look at the current state of play in the German cement sector and also carry a look back at 60 years of cement production at the Lafarge Cauldon plant in Staffordshire, UK.
