The December 2020 issue of Global Cement Magazine continues the year's trend towards sustainability, with contributions on carbon capture from LafargeHolcim and solar-power cement production from Cemex. The November 2020 issue of Global Cement Magazine has a strong sustainability focus, from the use of Graphene in cement to a plant report from Nuh Çimento, Turkey's largest clinker producer, and a facility that has undertaken a number of less common green projects. In between there is discussion of alternative fuel trends, maintenance approaches and explosion protection, plus mill upgrade, conveying and coal grinding case-studies, as well as the latest on the cement sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The October 2020 issue of Global Cement Magazine has a unique look at the relative sustainability performance of the top multinational producers, as well as how the physical properties of SCMs can be used to reduce the CO2 emissions of cement and concrete.
