LafargeHolcim appoints Alessandra Girolami as Head of Investor Relations

Switzerland: LafargeHolcim has appointed Alessandra Girolami as the group’s new Head of Investor Relations from 1 September 2016. Girolami will report to group chief financial officer Ron Wirahadiraksa. She replaces Michel Gerber, who will leave the group.
Girolami joins LafargeHolcim from the Carrefour Group, where she has been in Investor Relations since 2005 and Head of Financial Communications and Investor Relations since 2014. She began her career at ABN AMRO as a sell-side analyst. Girolami graduated from ESCP Europe with a major in finance and holds a postgraduate degree in Applied Economics from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris.
JC Bhutani resigns from Burnpur Cement

India: Jagdish Chander Bhutani has resigned as a director of Burnpur Cement. The resignation takes effect from 21 June 2016.
FCT makes global appointments

US: Adriano Greco will become the CEO of FCT Inc from 1 August 2016. Greco became the company’s US-based sales director in early 2016. Greco has previously acted as managing director of Greco and as sales director for Gebr. Pfeiffer.
Other staff movements at FCT Inc include the appointment of Ricardo Costa as a technical director based in Brazil. The company will also open a new office in Florida to support its development in the Latin American market. Elsewhere in the group, Joel Maia has joined FCT as the technical director of its European subsidiary, FCT GmbH.
Li Quanhua resigns from Huaxin Cement

China: Li Quanhua has resigned as the vice president of Huaxin Cement due to personal reasons. His letter of resignation was submitted on 18 June 2016 and has immediate effect. The board of directors have expressed their thanks to Li Quanhua for his contribution to the company.
Stefan Puntke becomes managing director of Refratechnik Cement

Germany: Stefan Puntke has become the managing director of Refratechnik Cement, replacing Wolfgang Tabbert. Puntke’s previous role has been taken by Christian Meyre, effective from 1 June 2016. The announcement was made at the 14th REFRA-Kolloquium held on 31 May to 3 June 2016 in Berlin.
Tabbert has worked for the company for more than 30 years, five of them as sales manager and 13 years as managing director. He will continue to act as consultant for Refratechnik Cement for a period to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities.
Meyre holds management experience in the international cement industry, particularly in North America.
