Malaysia: Tasek Corporation has appointed Go Hooi Koon as its company secretary. She succeeds Vincent Chow Poh Jin who has resigned. Tasek operates an integrated cement plant at Tasek in Perak.

Mexico: LafargeHolcim has appointed Jaime Hill Tinoco as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Holcim Mexico.

Hill, aged 50 years, was born in El Salvador. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgetown in Washington DC. He joined LafargeHolcim in El Salvador in 1996, at first in marketing and sales. He was appointed Commercial Director in 2004 and then held the same position in Colombia. In 2015 he became CEO of Holcim Colombia.

Saudi Arabia: Najran Cement has appointed Mohammed Bin Manaa Bin Sultan Aballa as its new chairman. He will be supported by Salah Bin Yassin Bin Khalil Allaf as the deputy chairman. Abdul Salam Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Alduraibi has also been appointed as a managing director at the cement producer.

Russia: Eurocement has appointed Stefan Noev as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its Maltsovsky Portland Cement subsidiary. The company operates a 4.2Mt/yr integrated plant in Bryansk Region. Noev is a graduate of the Technical University of Sofia in Bulgaria and he has worked for Italcementi and Suez Cement. He joined Eurocement in 2016 and managed its Sengileevsky integrated plant in Ulyanovsk region.
