Algeria: Holcim has appointed Ali Said as the CEO of its business in Algeria.
Said previously worked as the CEO UAE & Oman following general manager roles in the UAE, Jordan and Iraq. He started working for the group in 2014 as a chief financial officer in Iraq. Earlier in his career, he was the finance director for Cemena in Bahrain and held an accounting role for Lafarge Canada. Said is a graduate of McGill University and holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
